Architectural metalwork, Queenstown

Metal kitchens, islands and joinery

We make the metal parts of kitchens and built-in joinery: clad islands and cabinetry, canopies and rangehoods, stainless steel benches and splashbacks, steel shelving, wine walls and racking, and display units. We work alongside your joiner so metal and timber meet cleanly.

Islands and cabinetry can be clad in brass, blackened steel, patinated steel or stainless. Canopies and rangehoods are folded from sheet and finished to match. Shelving and wine racking are cut on the fibre laser, so pins and shelves line up along the whole wall.

Everything is designed, fabricated and installed from our workshop in Frankton, Queenstown. We measure on site, model the pieces in 3D and fit them with our own team across Queenstown and Central Otago.

Questions we are often asked

How long does kitchen metalwork take?

Allow 4 to 6 weeks from approved shop drawings. We fit in with the joinery programme, so we confirm timing with the quote and with your joiner.

Do you work with our joiner or kitchen designer?

Yes. Most of this work is done alongside a joiner or kitchen designer. We take their drawings, model the metal components in 3D and coordinate the fixings and tolerances so metal and timber meet properly on site.

What finishes are available?

Brushed or patinated brass, blackened steel, patinated steel, stainless steel and powder coat. We can match an existing finish from a sample.

Do you install?

Yes. Our team installs the islands, canopies, shelving and racking we make, working in with the joiner and builder on site.

What area do you cover?

Queenstown, Arrowtown, Wānaka and the wider Central Otago area.
